Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a management consultant is really like? Have you ever asked yourself:
* What's involved in a real-life client case study?
* What's an example of real problem that a management consultant might tackle, and how is the problem tackled?
* What tools do consultants use to get to the right answer?
* How do consultants make sure that the studies are implemented and the changes are made?
Well, come out to the Founder's Room at CMC on September 26, 6-8pm and you'll have all your questions answered!
Not only will we cover real case studies, but we'll also discuss the case interview process, and provide some frameworks and strategies for how to excel during your upcoming case interviews!
The evening's program will be presented by Brian Gee. Brian is an alum of the Claremont Colleges (Class of '97). He's spent his career working for consulting firms, starting up his own consulting firm, starting up other companies in China and Silicon Valley, and is now a member of the CEO’s Strategy & Operations team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software. Brian is not only an alum of the Claremont Colleges, but an alum of Accenture, Columbia Business School, McKinsey & Company, and has raised over $30M in venture capital for various companies.
It's an informal session, so feel free to come in shorts and flip-flops! We're gonna have fun and network and help you decide if you want to go into consulting, and if you do, we'll help you hone your case interviewing skills.
